Dallas w/Noodles the Bird needs a home
UPDATE 2/4/16: Dallas has a special new friend- Noodles- and they are falling in love! This big, strong, spooky couple is most interested in aviary life with other strong birds.
UPDATE 2/1/16: Dallas is a big, strong, Type A personality pigeon who has never warmed up to any bird or person except for his beloved husband Shimmy. Shimmy was a sweet pigeon who meant the world to Dallas and Dallas was SO devoted to Shimmy. Sadly, Shimmy died from congestive heart failure last night. Dallas will need a very special home and hopefully a new mate to love with his big strong heart.
Dallas is a big, long King pigeon with striking black markings across his white body. He was found as a stray at Washington Square Park in the North Beach neighborhood of SF on 5/28/14 and lucky to be taken to SFACC before he was killed by a hawk, owl, raven, gull, cat, dog, raccoon or mean person. (NEVER RELEASE STORE BOUGHT BIRDS!) He was at the shelter for 3 weeks but they were too full and he would have been euthanized for space so somehow, we squeezed him in. He's currently a bachelor and would love to find a mate and a real home!
